About this article

A long wallet only makes sense if you wear a jacket, and this one is dimensioned for the inside breast pocket of one. Notes lie flat and unfolded, which keeps them crisp and keeps the wallet thin despite its footprint. There is a full-length document slip behind the card bank for a boarding pass or a folded A4 sheet quartered down.

  • 11 card slots plus a full-length document slip
  • Notes carried flat, never folded
  • 12 mm closed despite the capacity

Care

Wipe with a dry cloth. Apply a thin coat of leather balm every three to six months, or when the surface feels dry. Let it rest an hour, then buff. Vegetable-tanned leather darkens with light and handling — that change is the point.

Leather, materials and compliance

Natural characteristics. Grain variation, visible pores, healed scars, growth lines and colour differences between pieces are properties of a natural hide, not faults, and are not grounds for complaint. The leather will darken and gain a patina with light and handling.

Chemicals. Our tanneries confirm compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH) Annex XVII, including the chromium VI limit of 3 mg/kg for leather articles in contact with the skin and the restrictions on azo dyes that release listed aromatic amines. Supplier declarations are held on file and available on request.

Animal origin. Bovine hide only, a by-product of the food industry. We do not sell leather from CITES listed or otherwise protected species — no python, no crocodile, no lizard — and we do not sell fur.

Allergy note. Tanning agents, dyes and finishes can cause a contact allergy in a small number of people. We cannot rule that out for any leather article. Stop wearing the item and seek advice if a reaction occurs.
