Cookie policy
Under § 25 TDDDG we may only store non-essential information on your device with your consent. This page lists everything, essential or not.

The short version
This site sets no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party marketing tags. Four things are stored in your browser, three of which are needed for the shop to function at all. The fourth is optional and off by default.
Refusing takes one click, in a button the same size and prominence as the accept button. Nothing on this site is withheld from you for refusing, and we do not ask again on every page.
Strictly necessary — always stored
Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG together with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These are needed to provide the service you asked for, so no consent is required for them and you cannot switch them off while using the shop.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| taschenwerk.cart.v1 | Local storage | Remembers what is in your cart between page loads and visits, so it is still there when you come back | Until you clear it or empty the cart |
| taschenwerk.consent.v1 | Local storage | Records the choice you made here, so we stop asking | 12 months |
| cf_clearance / Turnstile token | Cookie, first-party | Confirms a form submission came from a person rather than a script | Session, up to 30 minutes |
Optional — only if you say yes
Legal basis: § 25(1) TDDDG together with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Nothing in this category is stored unless you actively tick the box.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aggregate page counts | Local storage | Counts how many times a page was read, in aggregate. No cross-site tracking, no advertising identifier, no profile, no data sold or shared for marketing | 14 months |
What we deliberately do not use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels of any kind.
- No social media tracking widgets or share buttons that phone home.
- No cross-site or cross-device profiling.
- No fingerprinting to identify you without storage.
- No pre-ticked consent boxes, no cookie wall, no consent inferred from scrolling.
- Web fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not disclose your IP address to a font provider.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time, with effect for the future. That does not affect the lawfulness of anything stored before you changed it.
The same link is in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as giving it, as Art. 7(3) GDPR requires.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete storage in your browser settings. Blocking everything will stop the cart working, because the cart is stored in your browser rather than on our server — that is a consequence of not requiring you to open an account, not a way of pressuring you into consenting.
More on what we do with personal data generally is in the privacy notice.
