About this article
Three elastic retainers hold a charging cable, a short USB-C lead and a pair of earphones, then the panel rolls and ties. Split leather again, and for the same reason: this lives at the bottom of a bag and gets dragged across zips, so a pigmented surface is more useful here than a patina.

Care
Wipe with a dry cloth. Pigmented split leather needs no feeding. Replace the elastics rather than the roll if they slacken.
Full care and patina guideLeather, materials and compliance
Natural characteristics. Grain variation, visible pores, healed scars, growth lines and colour differences between pieces are properties of a natural hide, not faults, and are not grounds for complaint. The leather will darken and gain a patina with light and handling.
Chemicals. Our tanneries confirm compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH) Annex XVII, including the chromium VI limit of 3 mg/kg for leather articles in contact with the skin and the restrictions on azo dyes that release listed aromatic amines. Supplier declarations are held on file and available on request.
Animal origin. Bovine hide only, a by-product of the food industry. We do not sell leather from CITES listed or otherwise protected species — no python, no crocodile, no lizard — and we do not sell fur.
Allergy note. Tanning agents, dyes and finishes can cause a contact allergy in a small number of people. We cannot rule that out for any leather article. Stop wearing the item and seek advice if a reaction occurs.
